XJ-UT310WN Awarded Best In Show at InfoComm 2014 by AV Technology

DOVER, NJ, JUNE 26, 2014 Casio America, Inc. is proud to announce that its new Ultra Short Throw Projector, the XJ-UT310WN, has won the 2014 InfoComm “Best In Show” award by AV Technology (a NewBay Media publication). The awards program, hosted by a number of NewBay Media publications, recognizes outstanding products exhibited at InfoComm that are new since last year’s show.

“We, at Casio, are extremely excited to be named as the Best In Show for our new Ultra Short Throw Projector by AV Technology,” stated Matt Mustachio, General Manager of Casio’s Business Projector Division. “This award honor underscores the impact that Casio’s Ultra Short Throw projector will have on the education space and we hope that educators recognize our dedication to creating quality technology for the classroom.

At InfoComm 2014, AV Technology announced that Casio had been declared an award winner. For this award process, panels of professional users and editors, chosen in advance, review all product nominations and select the winners during the show.

"With thousands of new product introductions at InfoComm 2014, more than 37,000 attendees, 218 new exhibitors, nearly 200 award nominations, our Best in Show Awards help recognize technological excellence," said Margot Douaihy, editorial director of AV Technology, EDUwire, & Tech Manager Today. "We congratulate Casio on their award. Our judges acknowledged the Ultra Short Throw projector’s impressive performance in a compact package: bright, high quality image."

With brightness up to 3100 lumens and an ultra short throw ratio of 0.28:1, Casio’s new XJ-UT310WN is the world’s brightest LampFree® Ultra Short Throw projector* available. Primarily designed for the education market where Ultra Short throw projectors are becoming the standard, the XJ-UT310WN offers WXGA resolution and required connectivity plus a suite of application tools which easily integrate today’s mobile technology into the classroom.  No longer required to replace unsafe mercury lamps, the new XJ-UT310WN will help streamline costs and deliver a 20,000 hour estimated life due to Casio’s LASER & LED Hybrid Light Source technology. This technology achieves an increase in color spectrum compared with a mercury lamp, while lowering a projector’s total cost of ownership and maximizing investment.

Casio’s XJ-UT310WN comes with a standard three (3) year parts and labor warranty plus a five (5) year or 10,000 hour warranty on the Hybrid Laser & LED light source. The XJ-UT310WN will be available in Q3 2014 with an MSRP of $1,999.99 and available for purchase through Casio’s National Pro AV dealer network and authorized distributors.
