Further Simplifies the Configuration of Meeting Spaces by Taking Advantage of Hardware Efficiencies in the Enova DVX Product Line
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – February 4, 2014 – As part of its strategy to develop AV solutions for an IT world, at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014, AMX® announced Rapid Project Maker (RPM), Version 2.0, which will include several enhancements to this powerful yet simple tool. RPM has consistently grown its user base month over month to become one of the most popular configuration cloud-based configuration resources in the AV integration industry. The latest version further simplifies room configuration and management. Highlights of the new version of RPM will include:
- Dual Room Support – Cut costs by using a single Enova DVX All-In-One Presentation Switcher to control two separate rooms
- Multiple In-Room Control Panels - In-room control from up to four touch panels, including the AMX Modero X Series G5 family of touch panels and the AMX Enzo Meeting Presentation System
- Support for Preview Monitor - Add a non-controlled display as a monitor for previewing your RPM project throughout the configuration
RPM speeds an installer through an entire project from start to finish, saving remarkable amounts of time. For example, the average time needed to program a simple control system consisting of a TV, Laptop, Presentation Switcher and Blu-ray player is about 20 hours. With RPM it takes 20 minutes. A more complex conference room including a videoconferencing system can be configured in less than an hour, versus days or weeks with traditional programming. You can imagine what a time-saving tool this is for seasoned designers who need to rapidly design and deploy conference rooms or classrooms.
