Recessed XLR black/gold connectors and dual sided channel identification allow for use in any orientation. It's ingeniously designed with the broadcaster in mind. Similarly, the DT12 trunks are manufactured with full sized 22 AWG conductors providing lower signal loss especially in long run cables commonly required in remote sporting environments. All cable are 100% shielded to prevent electrical interference and cross-talk. All connector XLR contacts are gold plated to prevent oxidation in out-of-doors use, no plastic connectors or pop-rivets are used. All connector shells are metal to assure strength and longevity.
